You can get this by simplifying both. The square root of -108 is 6i[tex] \sqrt{3} [/tex] and the square root of -3 is i[tex] \sqrt{3} [/tex]. Subtract for the answer.

where i = √-1
√-3 = √3 i
thus = 6√3i-√3i = 5√3i = √-75
