I think the three ways in which chemical equations can be interpreted are; Moles, particles and mass. A balanced chemical equation can tell us how many atoms are in each compound and how they react to produce products of rearranged atoms, they can express moles of compounds, they can express grams of reactants and products and they also show states of matter.
