The answer is liberal. Much of the public perceives the Democratic Party to be liberal. In addition, democrats incline to take a more liberal stand on significant matters in which they believe that the federal administration must take a more active part in lives of the people, mainly those who are in necessity. The Democratic Party supposed that the Constitution was a strict article that evidently limited the powers of the federal administration.
