What were the intentions of the Preamble of the Constitution?

Hello dear!

So basically... The Preamble is the opening statement to the United States Constitution. The preamble explains all the different reasons why the Framers of the Constitution made our government a republic. And so by them doing this, the founding fathers replaced the Articles of Confederation. If that makes any sense.
