Guided participation is being defined as a process by which
a person is being helped by a person who is experienced to a particular
practice or thing so that the person with less experience will gain knowledge
and to know what he or she doesn't know of. If this set as an example to a
child, through guided participation, the child should interact with a mentor so
that the child would be able to accomplish the task that he or she isn't familiar
with.
