In these questions, we have equivalent ratios given and we have to find the missing number .

For the first one, we have

[tex] \frac{21}{7}= \frac{x}{1} [/tex]

Here the missing number is represented by x .

Dividing both 21 and 7 by 7,

[tex] \frac{3}{1} = \frac{x}{1} [/tex]

That gives, x=3

For the second question, we have

[tex] \frac{72}{12} = \frac{x}{1} [/tex]

Dividing both 72 and 12 by 12, we will get

[tex] \frac{6}{1} = \frac{x}{1} [/tex]

That gives x=6
