The area of a rectangular garden is 108 square meters. If the length is 3 feet more than the width, write and solve an equation to find the width and length of the garden.

Let w and w+3 be the width and the length of the garden. Then:
w(w+3)=108
w²+3w-108=0
(w+12)(w-9)=0
w=9 or -12
If w is 9, then the length is 12
