Kaiser Wilhelm II adopted the foreign policy named Weltpolitik. This included a very aggressive and imperialistic approach to foreign policy. The goal of Weltpolitik was to bring Germany to the forefront as a world power that would colonize more and become larger and more powerful than other countries.
