The lymphatic system is a network of small vessels and organs that includes lymph nodes. In these lymph nodes the lymph is filtered. Other organs that are part of the lymph system are: the tonsils, adenoids, spleen and thymus.The main function of the lymphatic system is to rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials.
