The Vietcong was a group of rebels in South Vietnam. Their whole purpose of coming together was to overthrow South Vietnam's government and the communists who had gained control.

the Vietcong also known as the VC we're kind of like a militia group who fought for the North and they wanted to take over the South and spread communism vc used Guerrilla tactics I hope this helps
