Hypophysis produces the hormone TSH to stimulate the thyroid gland to
produce its hormones (T3 e T4). To not exceed the quantity of T3 e T4, these hormones will inhibit the hypophysis so that it stops or decreases the release of TSH, thus reducing the stimulation of
the thyroid.
