Catherine will likely create in her simulation the greenhouse effect. The natural greenhouse effect is essential to life's support on earth as the earth would be absolutely cold if there was no greenhouse effect. Nowadays, though, [tex] CO_{2} [/tex] emitions, and other greenhouse effect gases emitions, are so high that the earth tends to get evermore hotter. This experiment may be useful to understand this concept and the dangers of excessive [tex] CO_{2} [/tex] emitions.
