The Aztecs demonstrated their innovation in engineering through their control of water systems to provide irrigation for crop-growing, fresh water for their villages through the construction of aqueducts. This artificial way of controlling water supply showed just how they had agro-engineering prowess over the land to effectively provide for their communities when not having the access to continuous water supplies.
