Geographic information may include the area of land or a body of water. It may also include the shape of the islands and their relative location with the surroundings. Eventually, this information should be translated into a visual chart called a map. It would use computer technology in the sense of drawing them and adding legends. Finally, you would need computers to print them out in large volumes.
