Is the sequence an=8, 13, 18, 23,... the same as the sequence a1=8, an=an-1 + 5

In order to answer the question we just need to solve the second equation to find the difference between 2 consecutive terms.
an = an-1+5
an-an-1 = 5
The difference between 2 consecutive terms is 5.
13-8=5
18-13=5
23-18=5

The two sequences are the same.
