The answer would be D. The slope of a line is how fast it climbs. Height divided by base. Up divided by over. Thus, if it goes across 3 and up 1, its slope would be 1/3. If it goes across 1 and up 2, the slope is 2. If it goes across 1 and up -1, the slope is -1.
