Find the volume of a cylinder with a diameter of 8 inches and a height that is three times the radius. Use 3.14 for pi and round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

Step 1: Find the area of the base: pi(r^2)=3.14(8^2)=200.96
Step 2: Multiply area by height. Height= 3(8)=24
Volume= 24*200.96=4823.04 inches
