The grapgh of f(x)= 2^x +1 is shown below. Explain how to find the average rate of change between x=0 and x=3

The average rate of change formula is f(b) - f(a) / b-a:


F(b) = f(3) = 2^3 + 1 =9

F(a) = F(0) = 2^0 +1 = 2


9 - 2 / 3-0 = 7/3
