You just do 1/1 then multiply that by 7 which would be 7/7. Then do 7/7 - 3/7 which would be 4/7 (which can not be simplified)

7/7 = to 1 whole and has the same denominator as 4/7 so 7/7 minus 4/7 is equal to 3/7
