Solution,

Given,

A = 39

B = 8

b = 5

A = h(B+b)

Now,

A = h(B+b)

Putting the given values,

39 = h(8+5)

or, 39 = h×13

or, 39÷13 = h

or, 3 = h

or, h = 3
