First we will distribute
4(5x - 6) - 4(2x + 1)
distribute the 4 to the numbers inside the parenthesis so that is the 5 and -6
and the second four to the numbers in the parenthesis so that is 2 and 1
20x - 24 - 8x -4
Then we combine like terms (the coeffiecients of x and the other two numbers)
12x -28

The answer is the third one

Hope this helps :)
