What is the value of f(3) if f(x) = 6x - 5 ?

The answer is 13

f(3) means that in the equation, we replace the x with 3, since 3 is now the function of x in the expression f(x)

Now, we just plug in 3 for x...

6(3) - 5

18 - 5

13
