Answer:

The factors of a number are all of the numbers that will divide into that number with no remainder. The prime factors of a number are the prime numbers that must be multiplied together to give the number. For example: The factors of 30 are 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, and 30. The prime factors of 30 are 2, 3, and 5.
