Higher temperatures create more kinetic energy causing enzymes to work faster hence increasing rate of reaction . However if optimum temperature of enzyme is exceeded, enzyme will denature. If temperature is too low, their will be less kinetic energy causing enzymes to work slower and therefore decreasing rate of reaction
