So we turn 8 into a fraction by adding a 1 under it like this: 8/1, now do it to the 5, so 5/1! Now do a reciprocal (5/1 to 1/5, switch order) and change the division to a multiplication sign: 8/1 • 1/5=8/5

Because per say if you were on a laptop 8/5 which is turning the numbers in to fraction would still be the same as number version
