The answers are x>5, x>-1/2, x>7

If any of the terms is 0 it makes the whole equation 0. Because we know anything multiplied by 0 is 0.

0 (B) (C) = 0
(A) 0 (C) = 0
(A) (B) (0) = 0

So we can just set up each of the terms in separate equals in regards to being greater than 0.

x - 5 > 0
5

2x + 1 > 0
-1/2

x - 7 > 0
7
