HELP DUE IN 10 MINUTES!!

Find the x- and y-intercepts of the graph of -10x + y = 29. State your answers as whole numbers or as improper fractions in simplest form.

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies y=10x+29[/tex]

Y intercept:-

  • x=0

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies y=10(0)+29[/tex]

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies y=29[/tex]

Hence

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies y=(0,29)[/tex]

X intercept:-

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies 10x=y-29[/tex]

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies x=\dfrac{y-29}{10}[/tex]

  • y=0

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies x=\dfrac{0-29}{10}[/tex]

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies x=\dfrac{29}{10}[/tex]

Hence

[tex]\\ \sf{:}\!\implies x=\left(\dfrac{29}{10},0\right)[/tex]
