If i have 172 centimetres of ribbon to decorate a gift basket. How many more centimetres of ribbon would i need to make 3 metres

you would need 128 more centimeters of ribbon in order to make 3 meters worth of ribbon.

1 meter = 100 centimeters
3 meters = 300 centimeters
subtract 300 by 172
= 128 more centimeters
