I think that at lunch time he will reach into his pocket to find out that his money isn't their anymore.
I think this happened because if he put the money in the pocket with a hole in it the money might have fallen out of his pocket.
If I was toby I would either look around to see if I could find the money or go to the office and call my parents to see if they could come to the school and give me money to get lunch.
