Fact is something that is known or proved to be true and can be backed up with evidence. Opinion can not be proven true as it is based on an individual person's experiences and preferences. Everybody's opinion can be different, yet none are wrong.

A theory is an explanation of something based on observations. Evidence is facts or info that proves whether or not something is true. You can use evidence to back up a theory.
