How many neutrons are in the nucleus of an atom with a mass number of 80 and an atomic number of 35?

Explanation:

mass number = number of protons and neutrons

atomic number = number of protons

to find neutrons subtract atomic number from mass number

so 80 - 35 = 45 neutrons
