Answer: Antislavery advocates believed that slavery was morally wrong, while abolitionists did not. ... Antislavery advocates wanted to confine slavery to the border states, while abolitionists. wanted an immediate end to slavery everywhere. Anti slavery advocates did not want slavery to spread.
