x = 10

PQ = 27

QR = 20

(2x + 7) + (2x) = 47

2x + 7 + 2x = 47

4x + 7 = 47

(4x + 7) - 7 = 47 - 7

4x = 40

4x/4 = 40/4

Now, use the solved x-value to find PQ and QR.

PQ = 2x + 7

PQ = 2(10) + 7

PQ = 20 + 7

PQ = 27

QR = 2x

QR = 2(10)
