By Pythagoras rule the hypothenus side can be obtained as

√ 13^2 -5^2 = √169 -25 = √144 = 12

cos x= adjacent/ hypothenus = 12/13

Now Cos2x= Sinx

And Sin2x = Cosx

Hence ;

Sin2x=12/13

Cos2x =5/13

Tan2x= Sin 2x/ Cos 2x
