At the maximum height, the object momentarily stops, which means that the velocity at the maximum height is zero, i.e. v = 0

Since Kinetic Energy is give by:

KE = 0.5 mv^2

KE = 0.5 * 2 * 0

KE = 0 ( at Max height)

However at the peak, the PE = mgh

PE = 2 *9.8 * 25.51

PE = 500 J

As the object returns back to the ground, the Potential Energy is transformed to kinetic energy, which means that, KE = PE = 500J
