A circular test track for cars has a circumference of 2.7km . A car travels around the track from the southernmost point to the northernmost point. What distance does the track travel?

From the given condition above, travelling from the northernmost part to the southernmost part would mean that the cars traveled half of the circumference of the circle. With the given value for the circumference of the circular track, the car traveled 1.35 km.

The circumference is the total circular distance of the track.If the car travels from south most point to the north most point it means it has traveled half of the total circular distance.
which means 2.7/2 = 1.35 KM.
