Slope of the line = [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex].

y-intercept of the line = -7.

Solution:

General form of equation of a line:

y = mx + c

where m is the slope and c is the y-intercept of the line.

Equation of a line:

[tex]$y=\frac{1}{2} x-7[/tex]

To compare this with general equation.

[tex]$m=\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

[tex]c=-7[/tex]

Slope of the line = [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex].

y-intercept of the line = -7.
