For this case we must resolve the following inequality:

[tex]\frac {I} {4} -8 <4[/tex]

Adding 8 to both sides of the inequality we have:

[tex]\frac {I} {4} <4 + 8\\\frac {I} {4} <12[/tex]

We multiply by 4 on both sides of the inequality:

[tex]I <12 * 4\\I <48[/tex]

Thus, the solution is given by all the values of I less than 48

Answer:

[tex]I <48[/tex]
