Universal suffrage was achieved in Britain in 1918,
wherein men over 21 years old and women over 30 years old can cast their vote.
However, it was only in 1928 that the age requirement for women to cast their vote
had been lowered to 21 years of age making it equal with men. At 21 years old, both
men and women can already cast their vote.
