Answer

given,

A = −4 + 5i and B = 4 − 10i.

midpoint of the complex number

[tex]m = \dfrac{-4+4}{2} +\dfrac{5-10}{2}i[/tex]

m = 0 -2.5 i

m = - 2.5 i

distance between point A and B

AB = (-4-4) + (5-(-10))i

AB = -8 + 15 i

distance

      = [tex]\sqrt{-8^2+15^2}[/tex]

     =  [tex]\sqrt{64+225}[/tex]

     = [tex]\sqrt{289}[/tex]

AB = 17
