In asexual reproduction, offspring are produced from one parent which means, 
 all the genes come from a single parent.
In asexually reproducing organisms, there is only one parent, therefore, there is no fusion of gametes nor mixing of genetic information. As an aftermath, the offspring are genetically identical to the parent and to each other which is now called-CLONES.
