let the third factor be a

(x+1)(x-2)(a)=2x^3-x^2-5x-2

(x^2-x-2)(a)=2x^3-x^2-5x-2

a=(2x^3-x^2-5x-2)/(x^2-x-2)

a=2x+1

third zero = -1/2
