Hi there,

Cytokinesis is the process in which the cytoplasm of a single eukaryotic cell is divided to form two daughter cells.

This is how it occurs:

Animal cells: divide by a cleavage furrow

Plant Cells: divide by a cell plate that eventually becomes the cell wall.
