1. In the story "Borders," why did the speaker's mother want to travel? (1 point)

The speaker's mother wanted to travel due to the fact that she needed to visit her daughter. Her daughter left the reserve and moved to another different place to find a job. The speaker's sister whose name was Laetitia went away from home without the blessing of her mother but she handled to live a good life.
