Divide the width of the wall by 2 to find the center.

Divide the width of the shelf by 2 to find the center.

Wall: 11 feet / 2 = 5.5 feet

Shelf: 2.5 feet / 2 = 1.25 feet

Subtract the 2 :

5.5 - 1.25 = 4.25 feet from the corner ( 4 feet 3 inches)
