3y + 2y = 5y
4+1 = 5
80-5=75
75/5 = 15
y=15

You can simplify this by adding the 1 and the 4 together, and the 3y and the 2y together. This leaves you with 80=5y + 5. If you then subtract the 5 over to the other side you get 75=5y. Divide both sides by 5 and you get y=15.
