Answer:

There are 2 answers the first is 2x^2-2x-4 and the second is 2(x^2-x-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = x2 − 3x − 4 and g(x) = x2 + x

(f + g)(x) = f(x) + g(x)

             = x2 − 3x − 4 +(x2 + x)

             = 2x2 − 2x − 4

             = 2(x2 − x − 2)

This is the correct answer from the edmentum pretest
