This is not a geometric sequence as the next number is found by adding 1.

To identify if its a geometric sequence than every time you times it by the same number to get the next value and if it is a geometric sequences than the equation would be in the form of a(n)=a1(r)^n-1. a1 representing the value of the first sequence the r of what number is being multiplied and the n representing what number you are trying to find.
