The correct answer is A, I ran under the sprinklers, 

my reason being is because the word ran doesn't need anything to back it up , ran means ran.

An Intransitive Verb means : A verb that indicates a complete action without being accompanied by a direct object.

Intransitive verbs are like sit, sleep and other verbs.
It is hard to write a direct object after a lot of them. 
So the sentence that had a verb that could not have a direct object after them was the first one.
